A brief history...

So what is this website? This project started in 2001 because I wanted a space to share my progression while learning. Over the years, this site has displayed various different pieces of work and my creative processes. This has ranged from fine art, graphics, traditional art and photography.

During my time in college, I found my passion for photography while taking a module as part of my design course. This brief introduction set me on a path of traditional film and the processes involved.

So who am I? I'm a photographer, artist, maker and all round creative. I have been doing photography for over 25 years with an interest in environmental, industrial and creative subjects.

I am also part of a collaborative effort with Breath of Life Development on the world of Talifar. An ambitious franchise with attention to detail and world building.

The Abstraction Project

This Project started in 2012 and ran through 2018. The project consisted of creating lo-fi images using a Samsung S7 and Instagram filters. The goal was to create something interesting, abstract and creative with just the use of a phone.

The whole purpose of this project was to experiment with a basic phone camera and the editing tools provided by Instagram at the time. I wanted to see how far I could push lo-fi photography using the most basic options I had access to.
